Which dog is more protective male or female?

Territorial or protective behaviors are more pronounced in unaltered dogs than in neutered dogs, and breed plays an important role in determining whether a dog is more or less likely to be aggressive. Male puppies are born with a penis and testicles, which are attached to the abdomen.

Female puppies, on the other hand, have a vagina and ovaries that are separate from the testes and penis. Because of this difference, it is possible for a female puppy to become pregnant and give birth to a litter of puppies. This is called sire-fertilization and is a normal part of puppyhood.

However, if a male puppy is not sired by his mother, he will not be able to produce any puppies of his own. He will, however, continue to nurse his litter until they are old enough to fend for themselves.

In this case, the mother will be the only female in the litter and she will have the responsibility of caring for the puppies and raising them to adulthood.
